CES 2013 - Canon Powershot N promotional video
Canon has introduced the new Powershot N camera. It has a new form factor and a bunch of new designs. What you will notice is there there are no buttons but instead you press on specific parts of the camera to activate the functions. By pressing on the top part of the ring it will take your picture. Pressing it half way down will focus and pressing it all the way will take the picture. In order to zoom rotate the secondary ring left or right. This gives you the ability to take a picture of yourself easily without having to reach behind the face of the camera awkwardly to take the picture.
There is also a big difference on the back of the camera. It has a gorgeous LCD panel on the back that rotates in order to give you better viewing angles for those harder to setup shots. One of the coolest features is the Creative Shot mode. After taking a picture it will spit out the original image and then the same picture sent through 5 different filters. Then you can go into playback mode and use the built-in wifi and send the appropriate photo wherever you want.

The SX50 is a point and shoot digital camera for someone who is interested in possibly making the move to a DSLR camera but not yet ready to fully make the jump.
This camera has a 50x optical zoom which is the biggest optical zoom you will see in a point and shoot under 500. It also has full HD 1080p resolution when recording video. However make sure to lock in your zoom before beginning video since you cannot change the zoom when recording.
