Never miss important road signs. Our Road Sign Information technology supports you by using a forward-looking camera to detect road signs, such as speed limits and "no overtaking". 

On the centre dial of the instrument cluster, the sign itself is displayed, so that you are constantly aware of current restrictions. If you exceed the speed limit, Road Sign Information technology can alert with a visual warning by flashing three times. This is easily set in the centre console menu.

Greater night visibility with consideration for other road users. Avoid the annoying habit of flicking between low and high beam during night driving. 

With our new system, your headlight stays on high beam all the time, and adjusts accordingly. When another car approaches, or drives in front of you, the beam adjusts. Even pedestrians and cyclists are recognized and the system avoids dazzling them with blinding light. When you enter a city area the high beam turns off, but if you drive past an illuminated sign, such as a filling station, it stays on so you can see what´s coming up. Both safe and convenient.

Cross Traffic Alert Volvo S60 features, and promotional video



Cross Traffic alert detects traffic from the sides when reversing out of a parking space. It uses the radar sensors at the rear end of the car to alert the driver. 

The alert is an audible signal and visual warning in the centre screen. The alert remains active as long as the target is present in the zone
