The new Ford Mustang Shelby® GT350 used the Ford Performance Mustang road race track and the all-new upcoming Shelby® GT500 to drive the GT350 to the latest road and street technology to improve driver confidence and lap times.

Based on a 1965-born racetrack and runway-focused legacy, Ford Performance engineers and designers have incorporated the latest developments in tire, aerodynamics and chassis technology into the 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350.

Working exclusively with Michelin, the team also designed the new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with the Shelby GT350 tread pattern and different composition to provide more road holding for braking with significantly improved acceleration and lateral acceleration. The 295/35 front and 305/35 rear tires were fitted to increase rigidity and optimize new 19-inch aluminum wheels.
