Serban Boldea, product manager for Passat at Volkswagen of America presents the all-new Passat BlueMotion concept car at the 2014 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show). 

This Passat Concept car has a manufacturer estimated highway fuel economy rating of 42 mpg on an all gasoline engine. This all-new Volkswagen vehicle has a 1.4-liter EA211 TSI engine with direct injection and turbocharging, as well as stop-start technology that will shut off the engine when the vehicle is temporarily stopped.
