The 2020 Supra, at first glance, embody the rich lineage with a design that exhibits a special kinship for the 1967 Toyota 2000 GT turning point with the fourth generation Supra built between 1993 and 2002.
The similarity is more than the depth of the skin: the new generation Supra shares the common features of the remarkable models with short wheelbase, sophisticated chassis and high-performance in-line six-cylinder engine.
In 2014, Toyota got a glimpse of the new Supra's design theme with Toyota's striking FT-1 concept car from the Calty design center in California. Supra's striking exterior was inspired by the impressive form of the FT-1.
The FT-1 design was achieved by optimizing Supra's efficient, high-performance packaging, intensifying forms, reducing unnecessary elements, and further improving the dynamic and powerful character. Wide two-seater cab overview that helps to emphasize the engine, while stretching the hood to emphasize the engine, while stretching the hood to emphasize the engine, such as the six-cylinder engine and the rear drive, but the large two-seat cab overview that helps with an ultra-light accent Extreme benzersiz is a unique view called.
2020 Toyota Supra Functional Design
The Supra design optimizes front-to-back aerodynamic stability while delivering a 50:50 weight balance. Toyota is evident throughout the sports car heritage. For example, the double bubble roof design reminds the Toyota 2000 GT and shaves the front roof area to reduce friction to reduce the prescribed front area without sacrificing the front roof area. The front fascia is a distinctive central grille section inspired by the fourth generation of Supra, but even more impressive, surrounded by large air intakes. At the rear, the prominent, curved rear integrated spoiler that helps suppress aerodynamic lift respects the long rear wing of the fourth generation Supra Turbo. The trapezoidal rear bumper shape carries a dynamic sense of motion against the tires.
Six-lens LED headlamps integrate both daytime running lamps and signal functions to create a different lighting signature for the new Supra. The rear combination lamps have a simple structure with turn, tail and stop functions integrated in the distinctive main ring shape. Replacement lamps are LEDs in the center of the lower bumper.
