The Jetta Hybrid adapts to your driving needs by seamlessly switching from electric to gasoline power, or to both electric and gas depending on your driving requirements. In extended electric mode or E-mode, the electric motor is used as much as possible. E-mode is available when driving under 42 Miles Per Hour and battery is adequately charged. When activated, the "E-Mode" icon appears in the multi function display. Electronic mode video only applies to the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid.
