Volvo Polestar 1 Carbon fiber supported vehicle introduction prototype production and test drive
Polestar is Volvo Car Group's new electric performance brand. With Volvo Cars, Polestar will enjoy certain technological and engineering synergies and benefit from significant economies of scale as a result of its connection with Volvo Cars.

Polestar's acceleration is increasing following its launch as a new electric performance brand. The company's first car, Polestar 1, was announced as a 600-hp Electric Performance Hybrid in October 2017, but has the longest range of pure electricity from any hybrid in the world. Polestar 1 will start production in the new Polestar Production Center, which is about to be completed in mid-2019.
