2020 Skoda KAMIQ New SUV - Interior Exterior Design Introduction
The next step in the successful SUV campaign in Europe ŠKODA KAMIQ combines the advantages of an SUV with the agility of a compact car World premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019
ŠKODA adds a third model to the European SUV portfolio: ŠKODA KAMIQ. As with the successful ŠKODA KODIAQ and KAROQ, the name KAMIQ comes from the language of Inuit people living in northern Canada and Greenland: it means something perfect. Sitting in the growing city SUV segment, ŠKODA KAMIQ perfectly combines the advantages of a sports utility vehicle, such as a high ground clearance and a raised seat position, with the agility of a compact vehicle.
With an emotional design, state-of-the-art support and infotainment systems, ample space and countless Simply Clever features, the new KAMIQ meets the needs of both family and lifestyle-oriented customers equally.
ŠKODA KAMIQ continues the successful SUV design language from KODIAQ and KAROQ, and comes with new visual accents such as split headlights with daytime running lights on the main headlights. The city of SUV is based on a modular transverse matrix (MQB) and offers a ŠKODA-typical generous space of 4,241 mm. Modern assistance systems, eco-friendly and efficient drive systems, state-of-the-art infotainment systems and state-of-the-art connectivity solutions ensure that ŠKODA KAMIQ perfectly meets the needs of modern individual mobility - all of which reinforces the ŠKODA brand's sensibility.
The KAMIQ name is already known as a ŠKODA SUV. The names of large models, ŠKODA KAROQ and ŠKODA KODIAQ, begin with the letter K and end with Q.
