CES 2013 - Samsung Galaxy Note II promotional video
The Samsung Galaxy note has been released to all 4 major carriers in the US now. One of the most amazing things about the device is that you can activate a multi-screen view. This feature can be turned on by holding the back button at which point a popup bar will appear on the left of the screen. From there you can drag any of the application icons to the half of the screen that you are working on. You can then drag a different application into the other half of the screen. The impressive part is that you can alter the size of the viewing area by simply dragging the midpoint of the screen to change the ratio of the screens.
CES 2013 - Canon Powershot N promotional video
Canon has introduced the new Powershot N camera. It has a new form factor and a bunch of new designs. What you will notice is there there are no buttons but instead you press on specific parts of the camera to activate the functions. By pressing on the top part of the ring it will take your picture. Pressing it half way down will focus and pressing it all the way will take the picture. In order to zoom rotate the secondary ring left or right. This gives you the ability to take a picture of yourself easily without having to reach behind the face of the camera awkwardly to take the picture.
There is also a big difference on the back of the camera. It has a gorgeous LCD panel on the back that rotates in order to give you better viewing angles for those harder to setup shots. One of the coolest features is the Creative Shot mode. After taking a picture it will spit out the original image and then the same picture sent through 5 different filters. Then you can go into playback mode and use the built-in wifi and send the appropriate photo wherever you want.
