Nissan Intelligent Mobility: ProPILOT Assist's leadership
When it comes to driving pleasure, the 2019 Altima stands alone in Nissan's advanced ProPILOT Assist. Unique in its class, ProPILOT Assist 1 reduces driver workload by reducing drive acceleration, steering and braking input in certain driving conditions such as single-lane motorway driving.
ProPILOT Assist is the basis of the autonomous vehicles of the future, helping drivers stay in the lane in the lane, stop and go traffic, maintain a defined vehicle speed and maintain a certain distance to the vehicle ahead. And they are all activated by a simple, two-button operation. To switch the system on, the driver only presses the blue ProPILOT Assist ON button, then sets the Smart Cruise Control when the desired speed is reached, as in a normal cruise cruise control system.
