You can capture stunning movie clips and store them directly on the SD card. The Leica HD cameras can be used either in a brilliant stand-alone mode without the need of any PC - then the live image is displayed on a HD screen which is directly attached to the camea by a standard HDMI cable. Or connect a PC or a Notebook via standard USB2 cable to the camera and run the Leica Application Suite (LAS) Software with all its powerful add on modules. For newcomers to microscopic imaging the easy to use LAS-EZ software with basic ca libration and measurement features can be used in combination with the new cameras.
